Dave Noland has emerged as being an accomplished, young musician in the New York area, representing both the jazz and commercial scenes of today. Having established himself professionally, Dave has commanded the attention of audiences, fellow musicians and producers alike. His high level of musicianship, whether it is within the setting of an orchestra pit, a big band, or a jazz club, has proven itself to be not only attractive artistically, but also a valuable asset to the music industry.

In 2006, the Jazz Excursion record label released Nomad, Noland's debut album. Nomad not only features Dave leading a prestigious quintet, but also presents six of his original compositions and three arrangements of classic standards of the jazz repertoire. Bill Donaldson of Cadence Magazine writes: "Noland's first album reveals a saxophonist who delves into the music with feeling and an engaging tone...Noland has shrewdly compiled a series of pieces that effectively highlight the versatility of his saxophone playing; from Hard Bop aggressiveness to standards to swaying, low-key waltzes to ballads."

Recently, Dave has had much commercial success having performed with the hit Broadway musical The Drowsy Chaperone, and Off-Broadway productions The JAP Chronicles, and Sessions. He recently completed the first national tour of Chita Rivera: The Dancer's Life, is currently touring Asia with 42nd Street, and was a featured member of the band and cast album in the broadway musical, Disney's On the Record. Dave has also performed in numerous New York stage productions including performances at the New York Fringe Festival and the New York Music Theatre Festival. Previously, Dave has toured Japan with 42nd Street, and was featured on ABC News's Nightline as a member of Joe Elefante's Big Band which performed every Monday night at Cecil's in West Orange, New Jersey.
